Distributing Surveys
Once your assessment is set up and stakeholder groups are defined, you can distribute surveys to collect their input.
Creating survey links
- Navigate to your assessment's Data Collection section.
- Select the stakeholder group you want to survey.
- Click Generate Survey Link to create a unique URL.
- Optionally generate a QR code for easy access.
Each stakeholder group receives a distinct link, which allows Karomia to track responses by group.
Distribution methods
Email
Share the survey link directly with stakeholders via email. You can use Karomia's built-in communication assets to help craft your outreach message.
QR codes
Generate QR codes that link to the survey. These are useful for:
- Printed materials at events or meetings.
- Internal communications and posters.
- Embedding in presentations.
Direct link sharing
Copy the survey link and share it through any channel:
- Internal messaging platforms.
- Intranet or company portals.
- Social media (for external stakeholders).
Monitoring responses
Track survey progress from the Data Collection Summary page:
- Response count — Number of completed responses per stakeholder group.
- Completion rate — Percentage of responses versus expected participants.
- Response timeline — When responses were submitted.
Send follow-up reminders to stakeholder groups with low response rates. Higher participation leads to more robust materiality assessment results.
Setting deadlines
You can configure response deadlines for each survey. Stakeholders will see the deadline on the survey introduction page. After the deadline passes, you can choose to close the survey or keep it open for late responses.
