Navigating the Platform
Karomia's interface is designed to help you access all sustainability management tools efficiently. Here's an overview of the main areas.
Home dashboard
After signing in, you land on the Home dashboard. This is your central hub with quick access to:
- Get started tools — Shortcuts to create assessments, manage emissions, and generate reports.
- More tools — Access to additional features like communication assets, focus groups, and partner management.
Main navigation
The left sidebar provides access to all major sections:

Entity selector
If your organization manages multiple entities, use the entity selector in the navigation to switch between them. Each entity has its own assessments, reports, and settings.
ESG dashboard
The ESG dashboard provides an executive overview of your organization's ESG metrics across all active assessments and reports. Access it from the main navigation.
Search and navigation
- Use the breadcrumb navigation at the top of each page to understand your current location and navigate back to parent sections.
- Each section provides clear next/previous navigation to guide you through multi-step workflows.
Notifications
Karomia notifies you of important updates:
- Pending data requests — When team members request access to data.
- Assessment updates — Progress notifications on active assessments.
- Survey responses — When stakeholders submit survey responses.
Notifications appear as badges on the relevant navigation items and as in-app toast messages.
