Assessments Overview
The Assessments module in Karomia enables your organization to conduct Double Materiality Assessments (DMA) as required by the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD). Karomia's AI-powered approach delivers results in hours instead of weeks, using EFRAG-compliant methodology with 100% auditor acceptance.

What is a Double Materiality Assessment?
A Double Materiality Assessment evaluates sustainability topics from two angles:
- Impact materiality — How your organization affects the environment and society.
- Financial materiality — How sustainability topics create risks and opportunities that affect your organization's financial position.
Assessment workflow
Karomia guides you through the DMA in a structured, step-by-step process:
- Set the scene — Define your organization's context, activities, value chain, and stakeholder landscape.
- Data collection — Gather input from stakeholders through surveys, focus groups, and interviews.
- IRO analysis — Analyze impacts, risks, and opportunities for each identified topic.
- Results — Review the materiality matrix and finalize which topics are material.
- Reporting — Generate reports from your assessment findings.
